INTRINSIC MARLIN CHANDELIER

Stunning life size chandelier of a marlin chasing a bait ball

This piece is one of the largest borosilicate sculptures ever created and is a monumental achievement for Buck as well as the glass community.

Approximately 30’ x 15’ x 10’

Like in nature, the bait ball spirals in a Fibonacci sequence of 109 sardines, while the life size, anatomically correct marlin swiftly attacks.

It is designed to hang suspended above the viewer.  Made of 120 pounds of Northstar’s Amber Purple glass that was hand pulled by Buck, this piece took almost eight years to complete.
